U.S. patent pending
VPods Inc. filed U.S.
VPods protects how licensed AI teammates join a delivery team, take approved work, write only where they are allowed, and keep project memory durable — without unpaid bench fallbacks or mixing deploy credentials with model inference.
What this means
A provisional application is on file with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It is not a granted patent. Filing numbers and receipt details stay offline. Public status is the line above.
What the filing covers
In plain language, the application describes these platform systems and methods:
Shared project memory
One project store with indexed metadata and durable bodies — no expiry clock that erases history. Every hire can be enriched silently from that memory. Humans can ask the same store through Sol without making Sol a hop other agents must call.
Hire orchestrator
After Approve, an isolated worker runs a reason–act–observe loop. A tool manager is the only door to repository, validation, and related tools. Provisioning apply stays out of agent hands. Role path contracts gate writes and commits.
Task coordinator
Drop work on a hire lane and it stays pending. The coordinator may annotate duplicates, file-lock conflicts, prerequisites, and related signals. Human Approve is final — annotations never veto.
Intake clarification
When a ticket is genuinely underspecified, a deterministic intake gate can pause before launch, collect the missing answer, then resume. Separate from Sol’s product charter brief.
Sol — Product Director
Charter, Solution Architecture, and Ask read shared project memory in Studio and Microsoft Teams. Publish of production architecture documentation to Confluence is a distinct paid writing function where licensed. Sol does not implement board work or block other hires.
Threat and compliance analysis
Specialist flows for external surface threat analysis and cloud SOC-oriented inventory evaluation — distinct from ordinary delivery hires, with partner-proxied or evidence-backed findings rather than unconstrained write access.
Multi-cloud inference
One shared hire roster. Thin adapters select operator-hosted or customer Bedrock / Azure AI Foundry inference. Deploy apply identity is never reused to invoke models. Cloud stays optional; skip it and Done is still a gated GitHub commit.
Hire branches and coding-box mirror
Hire tips integrate on a shared hire branch for preview — not an auto-merge to production main. When a coding box cannot clone the customer repo directly, a VPods-owned per-project mirror isolates clone credentials and copies results back.
Enforcement
Canceled, past due, unpaid, paused, or expired subscriptions grant zero agents. We do not substitute unpaid identities from a full bench. See the Legal Notice for copyright, trademark, and anti-copy terms.
